The Rapat Corporation began over 40 years ago. Originally located in Hitterdal, MN, USA, the business first produced conveyors for the agriculture industry. However, as Rapat's reputation for inventiveness suggests, the company began branching into other industries as well. As Rapat's product line grew, so did its need for a larger plant. In 1968 Rapat moved to its present site in Hawley, MN, and in 1975 Tom Sparrow, a Rapat employee, purchased the operation.
The company decided to explore more in providing material handling systems of best value to all its customers in Asia, thus they searched for a strategic location that will initially cater to their Asian market. Rapat found the Philippines a good site to build/establish its first branch in Asia. So, in February 2004, Rapat Industries Phil. Inc. as registered to SEC and simultaneously starts processing documents/permits to establish a business in Clark Field, Pampanga.
Rapat Industries Philippines, Inc. is derived from two of the top material handling companies -- Rapat Corporation and Gerber. Together, we are the complete source for all material handling equipment. Systems engineered and manufactured by Rapat are used across the enitre spectrum of industrial and agricultural material handling application.
